Emphasizing that the competitive strength highly depends on the ability of creating difference, Özdemir continued, “Thanks to our product development and benchmarking studies once again we have confirmed our distinctiveness in the sector, by offering our customers televisions with much higher image and sound qualities and with much more affordable prices, ".
BEKO acts environmentally conscious in production of the televisions it offers to its consumers... Offering its products to the consumers in more than 100 countries worldwide, BEKO brand continues its operations with the responsibility of being a global brand and in an environmentally conscious manner. Reflecting the approach of “contribution to the environment” as the primary goal throughout all processes; from the development stage to production; from supply to after sales services of its products, BEKO brand shapes its activities on the basis of this goal, even when the products are in the design phase.
BEKO branded products are designed to have diminished environmental impact throughout the product's physical life. Also one major objective is to offer much lower energy consumption levels compared to competition, both in stand-by mode and during operation. Moreover, the use of recyclable materials by the production of BEKO branded products, which are being manufactured under ISO 14001 Environment Management System since 1994, is brought to the foreground throughout each and every process.
Reserving a special corner in its stand at IFA 2007 for displaying the “environment-friendly televisions”, BEKO believes that producers have important duties in raising the awareness of the consumers about the “protection of the environment and natural resources”.
BEKO is displaying its LCD televisions of perfect picture and sound quality at IFA 2007...
With its 100 Hz products, BEKO is now taking the limits further after its introduction of “Full Motion” technology… The “Full Motion” technology, developed jointly by the German and Turkish R&D departments and registered under Beko brand, is considered as a revolutionary innovation in picture quality.
Watching television is much more pleasing now with the “Full Motion”, an advanced feature that combines full HD technology with Motion Compensation (FRC) technology. Motion Compensation eliminates 'film judder and motion blur', which is frequently seen in motion pictures, by means of adding a new image between the two original images. Thanks to the Motion Compensation, television with this technology works particularly well in sports events such as football and basketball games, where there is a lot of movement, or in action films.
At IFA 2007, BEKO is also introducing to the visitors, LCD TVs with “100 Hz + FRC” technology, which carries the quality of motion pictures another step further. Being aware of the major problem that LCD television faces is response time; with this technology, the response period decreases by half while the number of the images double.
Beko L Series 32” LCD TV with the "Good Design" award will meet the visitors at IFA Fair... BEKO L Series 32” LCD TV has won the “GOOD DESIGN” award, which has been presented since 1950 by the Chicago Athenaeum (Architecture and Design Museum). It is considered as the symbol of innovation and design. Along with criteria such as technology, aesthetics, quality and functionality, it was also assessed for the unique design concept it brought and for its genuineness.
In addition to its features such as; freeze frame of live broadcast and resume viewing after a time without missing any scenes, by means of an integrated hard disk, the Beko L Series 32” LCD television, with the “Good Design” award, can also skip TV commercials, in order to allow watching only the favorite programs. The television's 160 GB hard disk capacity gives full control to the user, by providing the opportunity to watch a desired program on a desired day at a desired hour. The product, which provides the opportunity to watch high definition broadcasts with its HD Ready feature, has been offered in Turkey since June 2007 and now, is meeting with consumers in Europe as well.
Among the products exhibited at the BEKO Stand at IFA 2007, there are also LCD televisions with “Sound Projector” technology. Focusing not only on image improvement, but also on sound technologies, BEKO offers to its customers options; such as two different sounds sources based on sound reflecting technology or directing sounds to one point, as an add-on to the effects given by the built-in 5.1 sound systems of the televisions featured above. Although surround 5.1 systems are quite effective to increase the home theater experience to higher levels, they are not very popular amongst home users due to the area they occupy and the “cable pollution” they create.
Users are freeing themselves totally from cable problems and the unusable areas occupied by satellite speakers, thanks to Beko branded LCD TVs, equipped with the Sound Projector feature. BEKO will be displaying this product to the visitors of the fair in a special section, called “home theater”. These sections will be furnished like a living room. Visitors will be able to experience the outstanding sound quality of the products in this special room.
Among the other products introduced at the BEKO stand will also be integrated digital TVs, called IDTVs, which are at the forefront in the LCD television product range, upon the recent spread of digital broadcasting in Europe. With Beko branded IDTVs, being exhibited in both small and large screen versions at IFA, users will have the opportunity of a greater selection of channels, interactive applications and higher quality.
