Arçelik Company, which is exporting the “Beko Exclusive Shop” system to international markets, especially to Eastern Europe and the CIS countries, recently introduced the 12th “Beko Exclusive Shop” in China, in the capital city of the province Canton, in Guangzhou.
In the opening ceremony of the “Beko Exclusive Shop” in Guangzhou, where the “Lion Dance” -the symbol of “luck and abundance”- was performed, the Country Manager Oğuzkan Şatıroğlu was there as the representative of Arçelik Company. Arçelik Company brings together a wide range of products with its customers in this country, by adding dryers, ovens, refrigerators and built-in products to its range in addition to the washing machines and dishwashers, through raising the number of “Exclusive Shops” in the Chinese market up to 12. Within the context of the “Beko Exclusive Shop” system, the sales representatives are given all necessary education and also after-sales services are given to customers. In the shops, which also allows sustaining stability in the prices, standard products, standard prices and sales and after-sales services are offered to the customers.
Arçelik Company, which is providing its consumers with its products and services in 106 countries, meets its customers in China with its products in 89 sales corners in 12 cities; Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Qingdao, Changcun, Ningbo, Dalian, Xian, Zhengzhou, Xinjiang, Beijing and Guangzhou. Till the end of 2007, Arçelik Company aims to have 100 sales corners in China.
Arçelik Company aims to increase the number of “Beko Exclusive Shops” outside Turkey to 500 in the next 3 years, where the number is about 250 for now, in an area from Serbia to China from west to east and from Ukraine to Lebanon from north to south.
Arçelik Company is assertive in Chinese market
Arçelik Company, which is following the Chinese market closely and established a sales and marketing company in Shanghai last year, in accordance with its strategy of “growing with own brands”, is continuing its investments in this market. After the first shipment of dishwashers and washing machines in March 2006 to China, the world’s most rapidly growing economy, the company decided to invest in this market. With the agreement following the decision, Arçelik Company purchased 100% of the stocks of the “Changzhou Casa-Shinco Electrical Appliances Co. Ltd”, which has a front-loading washing machine production plant with the capacity of 200,000 units per year. With the investment, Arçelik Company aims to speed up its growth strategy for North America and the Asia-Pacific and also to increase its scope in the Chinese market. |
